During the program year (during the 11am service), children in K-5th grade will be invited to come to the Lower Fellowship Hall right after Time with the Children with Ms. Ann (Director of Children & Youth). They will sing songs, do memory verse work, have a lesson, and play games.
We will be using the ORANGE curriculum to create a developmentally appropriate worship experience for kids. Parents are always welcome to come with their children and check it out!
If you decide to let your child participate, please come and sign them out immediately following the 11am service.
For children age 2 through High School, September through May, we meet in the lower-level of the church from 9:45am-10:45am during the program year. Large Groups focus on object lessons and fun with music and Small Groups focus on making friends, reinforcing Bible points, and games and crafts.
Preschool age children work in Small Groups, playing games and creating artwork that reinforces the day’s lesson.
Ask about our ORANGE curriculum
What is ORANGE?
ORANGE is simple, it's a strategy. It starts with two individual influences in a child's life:
Alone, these two work hard to ensure that every child has a better future. But when they’re COMBINED, the HOME and CHURCH will have a greater impact.
And THAT is ORANGE...
For children finishing 3rd grade through 8th grade. Activities that take place during camp include but are not limited to Bible study, games, swimming, boating and camp fires.
Dates and themes for Almost Lock-Ins can be found on the church website as the event draws closer. All 3rd-5th grade children are welcome. During this time together, we focus on Jesus, fellowship, games and fun! We ask that children bring $5 for pizza.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS takes place in August for children age three through fifth grade. Registration generally takes place the second and third week in May.
There is no cost for this week long event. Each family will receive a CD of VBS music. You can register online and at the church during open registration.
